热熔连接是通过加热使PE管材或管件的连接部位熔融,然后施加适当压力使其融合为一体的连接方法。这种方法适用于同牌号、同材质的PE管材与管材、管材与管件之间的连接。热熔连接主要包括热熔对接和热熔承插两种形式。热熔对接通常适用于直径较大(一般dn≥63mm)的PE管连接。操作时,需使用专用的热熔对接焊机,将两根待连接的管材分别固定在焊机的夹具上,通过加热板加热管材端面至熔融状态,迅速移开加热板,将两管材端口施压对接,保持压力直至接口冷却固化。整个过程对加热温度、加热时间、对接压力和保压时间都有严格要求,以确保接口强度不低于管材本体强度。
